Jakarta, November 13, 2019 – Manufacturing machines from Taiwan are products that are in great demand by consumers in Indonesia. One of the companies that use manufacturing machinery from Taiwan is PT Dharma Precision Parts, which is engaged in equipment and components industry of motorcycles, automobiles and mechanical transmission.
Sulfan Daniel as Engineering & Quality Assurance Department Head, PT Dharma Precision Parts, said that PT Dharma Precision Parts rely on machines from Taiwan to boost their sales targets in 2019 which amounted to 185 billion, an increase of approximately 12% of total sales in 2018 amounted to 165 billion rupiah.
Sulfan emphasized that in choosing a machine there are several things to be considered and Taiwanese machine feels quite competitive in terms of cost, power-efficient, and ease of maintenance.
“We always conduct a feasibility study in terms of cost. And it turns out that Taiwan’s engine prices are quite competitive compared to Japanese and European engines,” said Sulfan when met at PT Dharma Precision Parts, Bekasi on Tuesday (12/11).
He added that one of the advantages of Taiwan machine is saving electricity, because the electric power consumption is very small. In addition, he said, Taiwan machine maintenance is very easy, when compared with engines from other countries.
When met on the same occasion, Production & Jishuken Dept. Head, PT Dharma Precision Parts, Tri Edi Cahyono, also added that products from Taiwan itself have easy-to-use technology.
“When damage occurs, the Taiwan machine tend to be more easily repaired. In addition, we also have the facility to send our technicians to the engine manufacturer, so they can understand the technology and how to maintain it,” Tri closed.
