The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Corporate Synergy Development Center (CSD) recently led a delegation of Taiwanese machine tool manufacturers to the Manufacturing Indonesia show, held from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, 2016.
To promote Taiwan’s machine tools in the market, TAITRA and CSD organized a Taiwan machine tool pavilion at the 4 day show. The two organizations also held a press event on the show’s opening day to introduce Taiwan’s top machine tool manufacturers and their innovations to the local businesses and factory operators.
The press event was attended by 45 of Indonesia’s top media and news reporting agencies. Indonesia’s top 3 machine tool distributors, Jaya Metal, Intermesindo, and OTT, also joined the event, where they shared with the local media why they chose Taiwanese machine tool makers as their main partners.
The Manufacturing Indonesia show is the largest machinery show in the country. The UFI certified trade show is organized by PT. Pamerindo Indonesia.
The show’s venues spanned a total area of 37,000 square meters. There were 2,100 exhibitors from 26 countries, including Germany, Korea, Turkey, China, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Taiwan was the largest exhibitor at the show, with a total showing of 117 companies using over 2,000 square meters of floor space.
It has been estimated that the show attracted the attendance of 36,000 buyers from around the world during the 4 day period.
