In helping Taiwanese machine tools and accessories companies increase visibility in the global marketplace, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) took part in the recently concluded JIMTOF 2014. The tandem will again be working together for TIMTOS 2015 to help local companies create new business opportunities by inviting more foreign buyers to Taiwan for procurement
Over 130,000 buyers from 73 countries attended JIMTOF this year, which ran for six consecutive days from Oct 30th to Nov. 4th. Taiwan’s delegation of 53 exhibitors, which included such well-known makers as Fair Friend, PMI, GSA, Ching Hung, Luren, and Tongtai, was among the highest number of delegates sent for the show. The Taiwanese exhibitors presented some of the highest quality machine tools and component parts to date.
Meanwhile, TAITRA and TAMI hosted a new product launch press conference this Oct. 31st. The organizers discussed about the development trends of the industry, and also gave a glimpse of what to expect for TIMTOS in March of next year. Media coverage and interviews of top-ranked Taiwanese suppliers will help in enhancing their global presence.
TIMTOS 2015, which will be held from March 3rd to 8th at the Nangang Exhibition Hall and TWTC Halls I and III, is estimated to attract over 1,000 domestic and international exhibitors. Apart from the original place ever used, Metal Forming Machine Tools Display will also appear in Yuan Shan EXPO Dome at the first time, which makes a new record scale of trade show.
