To promote the Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) 2017, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) teamed up to hold a pre-show press reception on Nov. 11 during JIMTOF 2016, which was held at the Tokyo Big Sight from Nov. 17 to 22.
TIMOS 2017, which will the show’s 26th edition, will be held across 4 venues at Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall 1, the Yuanshan EXPO Dome of the Taipei EXPO PARK, TWTC Exhibition Hall 3 and TAIPEI NANGANG Exhibition Hall 1. The mega show will take place from Mar. 7 to 12, 2017.
According to TAMI, the theme of TIMOS 2017 will be “Industry 4.0+ and intelligent manufacturing” which are areas where Taiwanese machine tool makers have been recognized for delivering the industry’s best innovations by integrating IoT and Big Data technologies into their products.
Utilizing Taiwan’s expertise in ICT, Taiwanese makers have also been known for providing excellent total factory solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries where high precision machine tools are crucial for creating the best parts and components.
