The whole machine utilized Kao-Ming corporate Identity color. The sheet metal without any exposed reinforced ribs, and wire, no excessive raised corners, is a flat design of the machine body.
KMC-CE series structure design successfully applied the two designs of cross-closed type and newly keel-design and the three-axis transmission cooling system to this machine.
During high-speed cutting, it has the best dynamic rigidity and stability, ensuring high-quality, 32-36 m/min unmatched rapid traverse rate which is far superior to the others. - COOLANT SYSTEM FOR THREE AXIS
This machine adopted three designs of coolant systems for three-axis, the motor board with a cooling circuit & coolant system in the bearing seat & inner cooled ball screw to take away the heat generated by the transmission system efficiency and improve mechanical accuracy. The results of three-axis thermal measurement after cooling, the X-axis increased by 82%, the Y-axis increased by 87%, and the Z-axis increased by 76%
- INNER COOLED BALLSCREW
The design of the inner cooled ballscrew, coolant system in the bearing seat, and motor board with cooling circuit are to reduce thermal growth.
- COLUMN STRUCTURE
This column utilized a cross-closed type and newly keel-design, which can improve 42% anti-bending rigidity and 17% anti-torsional rigidity.
- LARGE TABLE BASE
Larger the table base to provide strong full support without overhang problem.
- INTELLIGENCE AND PRACTICALITY
This machine set up a set of the intelligent system (IPROS MX) next to the original controller. There are 19 intelligent functions of IPROS MX, which can help to enhance the efficiency of the work process, and improve the interaction between operators and machines. The Z-axis applied nitrogen hydraulic counterbalance, and a gas-to-oil unclamping tools system instead of the oil pressure unit to reduce environmental pollution and energy consumption.
- SPINDLE HEAD
The spindle head is a highly rigid structure, which provides the highest stability during high speed cutting and creates fine finish on cutting surfaces.
- STANDARDIZATION AND MODULARITY
At the beginning of the design, we had considered the standardization and modularity of machine parts. Almost all parts in the three axes transmission mechanism are shared, except the ballscrew. The sharing rate reaches 96%. The machine parts percentage of localization is 74.5%.
- FEED RATE
32-36 m/min unmatched rapid traverse rate beyond the industry average level. Increase the slope level of cover to enhance the chip removal capacity.
- TOOL MAGAZINE SUPPORT
Cam-type automatic tool change, fasten and smooth the tool change motions. Tool to tool change only takes 1.8 sec. To improve the general side-locking tool magazine rack to be bottom-locked to enhance the machine stability during processing.
Direct drive spindle 10000 - 12000rpm.
