New Milestones in Manufacturing – The Great Future of Industry 4.

To demonstrate the advantages of smart manufacturing technologies in Taiwan, The Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of Foreign Trade grandly presents a “Smart Manufacturing Experience Pavilion” at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei, show date from August 26 to the Aug 28.

The exhibition is divided into three theme areas: Smart Design, Smart Production and Smart Monitoring. The pavilion includes 120 booths and accommodates more than 40 businesses. It will be held in conjunction with the 2015 Taiwan International Industrial Automation Exhibition and 2015 Taiwan Touch Panel and Optical Film Exhibition at the same time and place.

The Bureau of Foreign Trade has indicated that advanced countries from the U.S. and Europe have successively promoted manufacturing transformation through the combination of smart robotics, internet of things, and big data in recent years, including Industry 4.0 in Germany, AMP in the U.S., and Future Factories in Japan.

Because Taiwan excels at research and development of precision machinery, automation and ICT technologies, developing innovative smart manufacturing technologies and applications is an important trend towards creating a high value-added manufacturing industry.

The Smart Manufacturing Experience Pavilion gathers domestic heavyweight industries ranging from automation equipment, intelligent controls, industrial robots, intelligent identification and many other technologies.

Participants include Advantech Corporation, LNC, Aurotek, ATMA Champ Ent. Corp., Formosa Heavy Industries Corp., Formosa Technology E-market Place, Pitotech Co., Ltd., Adlink Technology Inc., CoreTech System Co., Ltd., M2Communication Inc., and Taiwan Colour & Imaging Technology Corporation, to demonstrate services and scenarios provided by smart manufacturing.

Exhibition highlights include: Precision Machinery Research and Development Center displaying a dual arm robot-engaged in the shipment and packaging of motors based on the concept of Industry 4.0 and visual identification;

CoreTech System Co., Ltd., Road Ahead Technologies Consultant Corp., Ann Tong Ind. Co., Ltd., and Wisdom Engineering Services Corp, engaging in plastic injection molding, jointly promoting the comprehensive solution of smart design;
