Hiwin June revenues hit record
Mechanical motion control component and industrial robot maker Hiwin Technologies has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.702 billion (US$88.8 million) for June, hitting monthly record for the fourth consecutive time with growth of 3.10% sequentially and 52.51% on year.
Hiwin has become a components supplier for automobile manufacturing equipment makers for Toyota Motor, Honda Motor, Nissan Motor and Suzuki Motor as well as South Korea-based automakers, Chinese-language newspaper Commercial Timescited company chairman Eric Chuo as indicating. Hiwin will start production of smart ball screws for use in a Germany-based automaker’s Industry 4.0 factories by year-end 2018.
Hiwin posted consolidated revenues of NT$7.776 billion for the second quarter, the highest-ever quarterly figure with increases of 18.68% sequentially and 52.38% on year, and those of NT$14.337 billion for January-June rose 52.48% on year.
