The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) on Friday said it will lead a group of Taiwanese exhibitors to a smart machinery exhibition in the Philippines, hoping to tap into the country’s growing manufacturing potential.
Together with the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) and Taiwan Bearing & Transmission Association (TBTA), TAITRA will bring some 40 exhibitors to Smart Tech Manufacturing Philippines 2018 in Metro Manila from Aug. 22 to 25.
The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) is taking a business delegation to Taiwan for the 16th Edition of TAIPEI PLAS 2018, one of the most prominent Taipei International Plastics & Rubber Industry Show.
The delegation would visit Taiwan from August 14 to 18, 2018 while the exhibition is from August 15 to 19.
TAIPEI PLAS 2018 is one of the leading exhibitions in Taiwan in the field of Plastics and Rubber in which around 540 exhibitors will be participating and approximately 18,800 visitors are expected.
The exhibition would focus on Plastic & Rubber Processing Machinery, Injection Molding Machinery, Blow Molding Machinery, Extruders, Printing Machinery, Auxiliary Equipment, Molds & Dies, Parts & Accessories, Raw Materials, Semi-Finished & Finished Products.
Gardner Research published its rankings for the top machine tool producers, importers, and exporters in 2017 by country in its latest issue. With the rising demand from China for midrange products and automated manufacturing cells, Taiwan’s annual output value reached USD4.29 billion, ranked the 7th in the world, and annual export value reached USD3.35 billion, once again ranked the 4th largest exporter in the world. The consumption of machine tool in Taiwan reached USD1.78 billion in 2017 ranked the 9th in the world, while annual import value was USD840 million.
