A-I-M alliance formed to integrate Taiwan aerospace industry

Domestic machinery companies and aerospace manufacturers recently signed MOU on which proclaims further cooperation including research, development and manufacturing among aerospace industry chain. According to the manifesto, companies joined as teams, and 3 joint-venture teams will be put together to form as a big A-I-M alliance covering A-team(aerospace companies), I-team(Intelligent R&D institutions) and M-team(Machinery manufacturers). Proposed by the Executive Yuan, Industry 4.0 is not only an issue but an important solution to support domestic manufacturers. According to Lu(呂正華), the Deputy Chief of Industrial Development Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs, it is advised that corporate integration bring additional value by presenting more competitive service and products such as efficiency and customization.
Taiwan aerospace company EGAP is said to obtain Boeing aircraft purchasing order recently. The A-I-M team-up is shooting for more than 36 thousands purchase value of passenger aircrafts in 20 years. Through the integration, members of the alliance all hope for high-end machine tools, intelligent process technique to benefit the industry.
